IF you are looking for a new home this spring or summer, Linden Homes can help buyers to overcome the hurdle of a large deposit, and turn the dream into a reality.
The Government’s NewBuy scheme is designed to help bridge the deposit gap for new homebuyers – and is available across all Linden Homes’ regional developments in Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
The scheme is aimed at first time buyers or existing homeowners who only have funds for a deposit of between five and 10 per cent.
This offers a rate of 4.99 per cent, fixed until April 2015, on a 95 per cent loan to value mortgage. And buyers with a 10 to 15 per cent deposit will benefit from even more attractive rates of 4.49 and 3.99 per cent respectively, which are also fixed for the same period.
The scheme is operated by new homes developers, like Linden Homes, working in partnership with the Government.
Linden Homes sales director Steve Garton said: “It is still relatively early days for this scheme, but we have found it is something our prospective purchasers are interested in, and in many cases, eligible for.
