Yasemin and her husband, Ricky, were living in a two bedroom flat in Enfield with their three-year old son, so were eager to step up the ladder to a more family-friendly home.
Yasemin, 29, said: “The entire house hunting process took place throughout my pregnancy which was more challenging than the move itself. We moved to our new home at Locksley Place when our baby was just five weeks old and without the support of the Linden Homes team, our journey would have been a lot more stressful and chaotic. We experienced exceptional customer service with them helping us with everything from the reservation process to dealing with solicitors at the final hurdle – it almost felt like they were our mentors throughout the whole journey.”
The couple who have always lived in areas around Winchmore Hill and Enfield wanted to stay local due to family being in the area and Ricky working as a teacher in Mill Hill: “We were certain that we wanted a new build home for the convenience of less-maintenance, especially with a new baby on the way! We did view a few other new build developments in Chiswick and Watford, however compared with the three-bedroom home we secured more locally at Locksley Place, the price considering the location combined with the size of the home was so appealing to us. It wasn’t the case of location vs home for us – as we got both!”

Yasemin said: “At the time, upon viewing Locksley Pace, our reserved home was still being built so we ended up buying off-plan. We were really impressed with the show home we viewed but upon moving in we were still really surprised at the sizes of the rooms, especially our master bedroom. The house has really ticked all the boxes for our requirements as a busy family and we are so pleased that our children have such a wonderful space to grow up.
“There is also a real sense of community at Locksley Place which is mostly young families, so it’s fantastic that our children have such a wonderful space in the home to grow up in whilst also having a lovely area to enjoy. We’re looking forward to making some more special memories in our wonderful new family home!”
