London, Guildford Or Horndean? Read This, Then Decide.

Currently the average price for a two bedroom apartment in greater London is approximately £690,000. Drive out as far as Guildford and the average cost of a two bedroom apartment drops to £358,000.

Come a little further away still from the Capital and you will be very pleasantly surprised to discover that you can buy a new, beautifully designed, award-winning Linden Homes’ two bedroom apartment at The Brew House – part of The Old Brewery development - in the lovely Hampshire village of Horndean.

You might think that by paying almost £140,000 more for the convenience of living in Guildford, you’d be saving a lot of time commuting. Actually, the commute from London, Waterloo to Rowland’s Castle station near Horndean is only 20 minutes longer than most of the Guildford to London trains. The train from Petersfield to London Waterloo is even more frequent and takes just 23 more minutes into the Capital than the train from Guildford.

There are now just a handful of two bedroom apartments remaining at The Brew House. They are set in what used to be the old Gale’s Brewery building – which has been in Horndean for 160 years. In fact the apartment buildings are dominated by the original old Gale’s Brewery tower and are set in a building joined to this building, designed to mirror the original old Victorian brew house.

Each of the apartments has been finished to the usual award winning, high standards common to all Linden Homes. The bathrooms and kitchens are all fully fitted and the kitchens are finished with fully guaranteed appliances.

Tina Chalk is marketing manager at Linden Homes South: “The homes at The Old Brewery are ideal for young professionals – they are within easy reach of London, convenient for the mainline station at Rowland’s Castle or Petersfield, or, if you’re driving, the A3 is nearby – so there’s easy access by road to London or Portsmouth. If you don’t want to drive or take the train, there are great bus links too.

“Having said that, they are also a great and very stylish solution for downsizers, as they are within walking distance of Horndean’s shops, post office, doctor’s surgery and pubs.”

The two bedroom apartments at The Old Brewery in Horndean in Hampshire all have their own parking space; in fact most of the apartments come with two dedicated parking spaces.

For more information about the remaining Brew House apartments in Horndean, please call The Old Brewery marketing suite on 02392 809 298 – or pay us a visit: The marketing suite is open from 10am to 5pm Thursday to Monday (4pm Fridays).
