When a resident at Linden Homes’ Longhedge Village development in Salisbury learnt that one of the company’s sales executives was leaving, nine year old Erin Rogers wrote to ask if she and her sister could join the sales team!
Erin and Jessica, aged 13, go to Amesbury Archer Primary School and The Stonehenge School, and they’ve already decided that they want to work in the housebuilding industry when they are old enough.
Sue Scholfield, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes, said: “The girls moved to a beautiful three bedroom home at Longhedge Village with their parents and so had spent quite a lot of time with Charlotte in our sales team. When they heard Charlotte’s colleague was leaving they wrote a lovely letter to ask for a job!
“They are definitely the youngest applicants we’ve had and you can’t help but admire their ambition and enthusiasm – they are lovely girls.”
Erin and Jess’ mother, Emma commented: “Erin and Jess were delighted when Linden Homes wrote back! Sue sent the girls some neck scarves and name badges so they could practise playing ‘sales executives’ until they were older. Charlotte makes the girls feel very important and it’s so sweet to see how interested they are in the floor plans, the development layout and the show home – it’s really caught their imagination.”
Erin said: “I love the office where Charlotte sells the homes and I would like to work there when I’m older!”
Linden Homes is creating a collection of stunning two to five bedroom homes at Longhedge Village in Old Sarum. There are currently four bedroom homes available.
