Linden Homes’ Vanessa Makes Fund Raising A Family Affair!

No stranger to throwing herself into a fund raising challenge, sales executive Vanessa Allison has notched up another charity mission, with the help of her nearest and dearest!

Vanessa, who works for Linden Homes East Yorkshire, took to the skies – along with husband Andy and sons Ashley and Brad – in a micro-glide in aid of mental health charity MIND.

It was up, up and away for the fab four on Father’s Day during the stunt at Netherthorpe Airfield.

Vanessa said: “Mental Health is one of the biggest killers in men under 40, although it can effect anyone at anytime, so with our charity effort we hope we can bring this condition out into the open and help someone/anyone!

“As first it was just going to be myself and Brad taking part, but it was wonderful that my husband Andy and our son Ashley, were also able to experience it too.

“We had an amazing day and it was more exhilarating than tiring – made a bit more fun too as it was a bit of a windy day.”

With donations continuing to roll in, Vanessa, who is based at the Saxon Springs development in Welton, Lincolnshire is poised to reach her fund raising target of £200.
