Linden Homes champions local talent with Cricket Club sponsorship

Linden Homes, part of Vistry, is Darwen Cricket Club’s latest community sponsor for the 2026 season.

The partnership is providing much-needed support towards the upkeep of the club’s historic Birch Hall ground as well as funding for the club’s juniors, men's and women's teams.  

Based at Brookhouse Aerospace Birch Hall Ground, the cricket club is just two miles away from Linden Homes’ first Darwen development, Cooper Fields. The sponsorship forms part of Linden Homes’ Summer of Sport campaign, which is seeing it support several grassroots sports clubs and schools local to its developments across the North West.

Graham Ainslie, Operations Manager at Darwen Cricket Club, commented: “It is a pleasure to welcome Linden Homes as our latest Community Partner to Darwen Cricket Club. Its support to the club provides vital funding to continue and enhance facilities for our teams across the club. We are also pleased that Darwen is getting another housing development; we hope that those new to the town can use the excellent facilities at our community club.”

Five-star housebuilder Linden Homes has recently launched its state-of-the-art show homes at Cooper Fields, showcasing its modern design, developed with local buyers in mind. The  three and four-bedroom homes are now available to reserve off Roman Road with prices starting at £275,000.
