NO – there wasn’t a wardrobe malfunction on the Starship Linden Homes, just a chance to celebrate a long service award and boost local charity coffers!

Staff at the award-winning Peterborough-based house builder used the opportunity to mark quantity surveyor Paul Kirk’s 30 years with the company and add to the funds already raised for its chosen charity. Sue Ryder.

Nicknamed ‘Captain Kirk’ by colleagues, a dress down day was held in honour of commercial department stalwart Paul, with an associated cake sale.

Staff took their inspiration from Star Trek as well as from the Eighties to mark the era of Paul joining the company.

The fun event was part of Linden Homes’ season of fundraising activities in aid of the Thorpe Hall Appeal in Peterborough – with the next planned event being a charity golf day in October.
