When local lady Lynda MacDermid began working for Linden Homes earlier this year as a sales executive, little did she think that she would one day own a home that – as part of her everyday role – she sells to other like-minded house-hunters. But she’s done just that!
Having worked at the developer’s Coed Y Brenin development since it began building just five months ago, Linda loved the homes so much that she decided to swap her existing home for a brand new one at this attractive site that is situated on the outskirts of town.
Lynda said: “We had no plans to move home but after seeing the development take shape, I fell in love with the properties and the location and didn’t look back!”
Her next move was to convince her husband, and so when he too looked around the development, he was also convinced that this was the next place for them to set up home!
The couple decided on an attractive Birch house type, which features a spacious kitchen with a breakfast area, and open-plan lounge and dining room, a convenient cloakroom and a garage. The first floor offers four well-sized bedrooms, with the first and second featuring an en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom.
“We decided that this was the home for us and what’s more because everything was brand new, all we needed to do was move in and start living in our brand new life. Furthermore, to make everything even easier, we used Linden’s part-exchange scheme so we didn’t have to worry about selling our existing property, and we had the keys to our new four-bedroom detached home in just 13 working days.”
And now they have settled in, Lynda agrees that it was the right decision. “We love everything about our property and the location, so when prospective house buyers ask me what it could be like to set up home here, I simply point to my home and smile. I am quite simply the best customer Linden could have, as I own a property that I actively market myself!”
