Time is running out for house hunters to secure a canalside home at a Linden Homes development in Birmingham.
The final few homes have been released for sale at Cincinnati, a collection of homes being built next to the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, around six miles north east of the city centre.
The development is being built on the site of the former Cincinnati engineering works, which closed in 2008, and has been named in memory of the site’s industrial past.
The remaining homes for sale are all three-storey four-bedroom homes with canal views.
The available plots are a mixture of Kingsbury and Kingsbury II house types, each of which features a study/family room, kitchen/dining area with French doors, living room with balcony, downstairs cloakroom, two bathrooms and a master bedroom with en suite facilities.
Linda Huntington, Head of Sales for Linden Homes West Midlands, said: “Our Cincinnati development has proven extremely popular with buyers, thanks largely to its attractive canalside setting and the easy access it affords to Birmingham city centre.
“Interest has been particularly high in the last phase of townhouses, all of which occupy a prime waterfront position overlooking the canal.

Buyers can secure a home at Cincinnati with just a five per cent deposit and 75 per cent mortgage using the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. The remaining 20 per cent is provided as an equity loan which is interest-free for the first five years.
Alternatively, buyers with an existing property to sell can take advantage of Linden Homes’ Part Exchange scheme and avoid the stress and hassle of being stuck in a chain.
Another option for purchasers is the Assisted Move Scheme, under which Linden Homes will instruct an estate agent to market their customer’s current home on their behalf, and which can be used alongside Help to Buy.
