Housebuilding Fundraisers Poised To Climb To New Heights For Mental Health Charity
06 Sep 2021

Scaling new fundraising heights – an intrepid team from Linden Homes and Bovis Homes will be joining colleagues for this month’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

It will be best foot forward for the 29 charity supporters, part of Vistry Group, when they tackle the gruelling 5,200 ft combined climb of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough during the 24-mile walk starting on 18 September.

The team is hoping to raise £10,000 for mental health charity MIND – to add to the almost £87,000 already raised so far this year for the company’s chosen charity of 2021.

Regional managing director Scott Stothard – who is among those taking part - said: “The very best of luck to everyone involved the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge – and for supporting our chosen charity.

“Good mental health is so important to our wellbeing and having charities like MIND to reach out and help those that are struggling is especially important right now due to the added impact of the pandemic.

“It has been a tough year and a half for many of us, but we recognise the vital work provided by MIND and anything we can do to help them improve their services, raise awareness and promote better understanding of mental health issues is hugely important.”
