Construction work is coming to an end at a new housing development of 119 homes being built in Market Harborough.
Linden Homes, part of the newly formed Vistry Group with Bovis Homes, has completed all but seven properties at its Ashton Rise development.
Construction work is on track to be completed before the end of the year on the four and five-bedroom houses.
The final few homes have now been released for sale, including the four-bedroom showhome, which is a house type called the Casterton 3.
The Casterton house type features a kitchen/dining area with French doors to the garden, a separate living room, study, family area, double garage and en-suite to bedroom one.
The showhome is being sold fully furnished, with furniture and accessories included for the buyer, plus an upgraded kitchen with integrated appliances and flooring throughout, in addition to a landscaped garden to the rear of the property.
Hannah Dorner, Sales Manager of Linden Homes East Midlands, said: “Since we began construction of the 119 much-needed homes at Ashton Rise, the site has proven to be extremely popular. It quickly became clear that this is one of Market Harborough’s most popular locations. Home hunters have actively sought out the edge-of-town position with easy walking distance to the town centre and Welland Park.
“Now, with only a handful of homes left to sell, we have decided to release our showhome for sale and don’t expect it to be around for very long. The Casterton 3 will be sold with all its furniture included, as well as a modern interior design scheme which can be viewed in person from the development to have a first-hand look at the home which could become someone’s very own.
“With pent-up demand still in the market, the opportunity to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday and availability of Help to Buy*, we expect the final seven homes to be reserved quickly.

Linden Homes has contributed more than £2 million towards infrastructure improvements as part of its planning agreement with Harborough District Council.
This includes £873,155 towards primary, secondary and post-16 education, £237,825 towards outdoor sports provision, £126,577 for children and young people’s amenities, £121,974 for town centre improvements, and a £35,406 contribution to local policing.
