Linden Homes prepares to close doors on Northfields, Colchester
The local people of Colchester will probably remember the beginnings of Northfields – the now very established collection of homes delivered by Essex housebuilder Linden Homes. Since 2008, the company has provided much needed, affordably priced homes for the people of Essex.
Situated adjacent to Colchester Hospital, this collection has delivered 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3, and 4 bedroom homes to the area.
Karen Roake, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes Eastern explains that the development has been a real success story for the local housebuilder since the day it opened: “Since we launched in November 2008, Northfields has been extremely popular. In particular for those who love the area and find the convenience of the location – near the town centre, train station and hospital – all very appealing draws. We have also seen lots of buyers over the years coming out from London, who can get a lot more for their money.”
There is now only one home available at this sought after development in Colchester. The three bedroom Tollesbury house comes with a stylish kitchen and a large living/dining area with sliding doors which spill out to the garden. The property has a downstairs cloakroom, en suite to the master bedroom, and the study could also be converted into a fourth bedroom. And because it is the last home available, it comes with all appliances and carpeting throughout.
The Tollesbury also qualifies for Help to Buy, making this even more affordable both short and long-term for those looking to get on or up the housing ladder.
Karen describes the final gem remaining at Northfields: “This house is really versatile, and being able to convert the study room into a fourth bedroom really opens up possibilities for those who are looking for a new bigger family home at an affordable price. We’d encourage those looking for a new home to come and take a look quickly to avoid missing out on being a part of this very established community.”
Northfields is within walking distance of the railway station with great links locally to Chelmsford, Ipswich and also into London Liverpool Street in as little as 47 minutes.
