East Yorkshire House Hunters Queue To Reserve A Brand New Home From Plan

Savvy house hunters in East Yorkshire have been snapping up new homes fresh from the drawing board, following the launch of two brand new developments.

Award-winning Linden Homes North unveiled details and designs of its brand new coming soon homes in Swanland and Hessle, during a two-day customer launch at the Country Park Inn – which attracted over 150 potential purchasers.

A total of 140 new two, three and four-bedroom homes will be built at the Woodland Croft development in Hessle, where a show home is due to open next February.

However, customers interested in buying one of the new homes queued at the launch an hour before the doors opened to ensure they reserved their preferred plot at the development – with over 50 per cent of the first releases sold off plan, mainly through the Help to Buy incentive.

In addition, the Linden Homes sales team dealt with a high volume of Part Exchange applications from customers with an existing property to sell in the area.

House type displays and details of incentives to help curb the cost of moving gave visitors an insight into the Woodland Croft site.

Among the first to reserve at Woodland Croft were Andrew and Andrea Nicklas, after choosing Linden Homes above other developers in the area. Friends, and soon to be neighbours, Rachael Lowery and William Swinger, and Paul Dervey, and Michelle Chandler also snapped their homes fresh from the drawing board.

Also wowing visitors were plans for the executive four and five-bedrooms at the exclusive Swanland Gardens development in Swanland.

Linden Homes North regional sales manager Melanie Parker said: “We anticipated a high turnout at the launch of these two fantastic new developments, but were overwhelmed by the level of genuine interest, and so early on the first day.

“We’ve been delighted with the initial number of reservations, and the feedback from the event has been excellent.”

Both developments are currently being sold from a sales and marketing suite at the existing Parklands Mill site at North Ferriby (where there is a last chance to buy), open daily from 10.30am until 5pm.
