Dream Home Joy For Whetstone Development's First Residents Ashley And Rhea
13 Aug 2015

From living with parents to enjoying the freedom of a new dream home – that’s first time buyers, professional couple Ashley Crane and Rhea Marsden.

The couple are not only celebrating a spacious and stylish new home in the Leicestershire village of Whetstone, but are the first residents to move into Linden Homes Midlands’ Trinity Brook development.

Having a place of their own, enjoying the local surroundings and living in a commutable location are among the many requirements 25-year-old bank manager Ashley and business development manager Rhea (22) have been able to tick off their list, thanks to Linden Homes.

Ashley said: “Location was important for us. With Rhea working predominantly out on the road from Leicester North to as far as Scotland, and come September, myself working from London/Birmingham - accessibility to motorways was a massive factor. The M69 and M1 are five minutes from home and easy to get to from Fosse Park M1 junction 21a. There are also great train services through Narborough and Rugby Train station to major centres.”

The couple were also keen to stay close to Leicester, where they have family and a wide circle of friends.

He added: “We were both born in Leicester and our friendship groups are over here, hence we decided we wanted to live in Leicester so the city centre is accessible but far enough out for traffic not be an issue during rush hour.”

And it was Rhea’s dad who inadvertently influenced their decision, having driven by the development and set the wheels in motion. The couple registered their interest early, and after following the progress of the development, visited Trinity Brook on the day of the show home opening – and soon after had reserved what they say is their first dream home together.

A far cry from spending time together in their ‘make-do flat’ – which was actually Rhea’s bedroom at her parents’ home – they are enjoying the space and freedom of their three-bedroom detached home.

Rhea said: “This home suits our every need; budget, size and specification. Finally after months and months of saving we have our freedom, a place of our own and we could not be happier! “

The couple have nothing but praise for the Linden Homes team who guided them through their customer journey, and would have no hesitation in recommending the developer, and its ‘10/10 Rolls Royce service’ to friends and family.

Trinity Brook currently has a range of two, three and four bedroom homes available. Located off Cambridge Road, Trinity Brook enjoys a convenient village setting, within easy reach of the centre of Leicester just six miles away, while enjoying a lively local community, good schools, a close proximity to the city and countryside, plus excellent road and rail links.

The sales and marketing suite and show home are open daily. Alternatively, contact the sales team on 0116 2145350.
