Developer Swaps Bricks And Mortar For Tea And Cake In Support Of Cancer Charity (Midlands)

Local developer, Linden Homes Midlands, joins the rest of the world for the 29th edition of the Macmillan Coffee Morning.

With one in two people now facing a cancer diagnosis, the sweet and savoury treats were out in full force to raise as much money as possible. The grand total for their efforts came in at £100.82.

The money raised can have a major impact on the lives of cancer patients and their families. According to Macmillan Cancer Support: “£52 could help run our Online Community forum for over an hour. Typically, that would give nearly 750 people affected by cancer both emotional and practical support.”

Linden Homes Midlands Marketing Manager, Dina Pittore says: “We can always rely on staff at Linden to get behind important causes and give generously. We’re grateful to everyone who bought, baked and enjoyed the selection of treats. Well done team Linden!”

In 2018, the world’s biggest coffee morning raised a staggering £26,914,382 and Linden are proud to contribute towards this year’s greatly anticipated total.
