Community Growing At New Deeping St James Development

Linden Homes has started work on the second part of a new community forming in Deeping St James.

The developer is excited to welcome a new selection of residents to Springfields, off Linchfield Road in Deeping St James, after the first homes from this latest phase of the development were released for sale last month.

Construction first began at Springfields in 2020, with work now finished on the first phase of 76 two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Now Linden Homes, part of Vistry Group, has started building the next phase of 69 properties to the western area of the site, eventually bringing the total number of homes at the development to 145.

Weronika Maslak, sales manager at Springfields, said: “There is a fantastic new community forming here at Springfields, and work starting on these properties marks an exciting opportunity to introduce even more residents to the neighbourhood.

“We have really enjoyed getting to know both the new and existing members of the community throughout phase one of the development and look forward to the opportunities that will come within phase two.”

In line with planning agreements for the development, Linden Homes has contributed more than £325,000 to the local community. This includes £1,655 towards a new fire hydrant, £4,628 towards traffic management, £15,602 towards a bus shelter and its maintenance, and £303,450 for primary, secondary and sixth form education.

In addition to this support, the developer has also provided donations and sponsorships to Deeping Rangers FC and Deeping St James Community Primary School.

Weronika said: “Springfields has attracted high levels of interest ever since the first houses were released onto the market in August 2020, and its desirability largely stems from Deeping St James offering the perfect balance of town and country living, benefitting from convenient transport links into Peterborough, yet far away enough from the city to enjoy the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside.”

A four-bedroom Pembroke showhome is currently open for viewings at Springfields via one-to-one appointments.

There is currently a selection of three and four-bedroom homes available to purchase at Springfields.
