Canalside Showhome Now Open At Cincinnati Development

A canalside showhome has been launched at the housing development which is regenerating the former Cincinnati factory site in Birmingham.

Linden Homes officially opened the Kingsbury II showhome at its Cincinnati development, off Edgemond Avenue, over the Easter weekend, when more than 40 visitors came through the doors.

The showhome – a three-storey home overlooking the canal – is already reserved, and now Linden Homes has only six homes available for sale at Cincinnati.

These four-bedroom homes for sale also overlook the canal and all have a balcony, en-suite and two reception rooms.

The developer is building a total of 101 new homes at Cincinnati, more than half of which are now completed. The site had previously been derelict since the closure of the engineering works in 2008.

Linda Huntington, Head of Sales at Linden Homes West Midlands, said: “Our Cincinnati development has breathed new life into a disused brownfield site and the transformation of the derelict canal frontage into an attractive neighbourhood is now well underway.

“The development has proven popular with buyers, thanks largely to its close proximity to Birmingham city centre and easy access to the motorway network, and all of the properties sold to date have been bought off-plan, before being fully built.

“The number of people who attended the launch of our Kingsbury II showhome demonstrates the high level of interest we have had in the remaining homes, and I would encourage home-hunters to come and see the showhome and its canalside setting for themselves.”

The remaining properties for sale at Cincinnati are all four-bedroom houses.
