Beeches Crescent is the latest development to be created in Chelmsford by the award winning house builder Linden Homes.
The existing 1940s single storey buildings – formerly owned by the Department of Work and Pensions – have been demolished so that construction work can begin.
Once the development is complete, Beeches Crescent will consist of 46 new 3, 4 and 5 bedroom semi and detached homes built around a landscaped park area. The homes have been devised so that they are very family friendly and each is designed with a garden and a garage or car port.
This former brown field site is excellently located for the city centre and train station which are both just under a mile away from Beeches Crescent.
Currently the homes are being sold from Linden Homes’ St John’s development, also in Chelmsford. The details and plans for the homes at Beeches Crescent are available to view at the sales and marketing suite on the grounds of the former hospital. A show home will be available to view at Beeches Crescent in the spring time.
Demand for these homes has already been high, so if you are interested in buying a home at Beeches Crescent, an off plan purchase might be a good option: Karen Roake is the sales and marketing director at Linden Homes’ Eastern:
“There are several advantages to off plan buying: It can make some aspects of the house buying process easier. You might have the pick of the plots and it might be possible for you to monitor the progress of your new home as it is built.
“If you buy early enough you might get the opportunity to personalise your home by being able to pick the finish of the bathroom or kitchen, for example. We have already had a number of off plan sales so buying off plan to ensure you secure your new home is certainly worth thinking about.”
Linden Homes’ customer Alex Haworth decided to buy off plan and was able to pick her plot and was even able to monitor her home as it took shape.
