Adrian Sims New Managing Director At Linden Homes Chiltern

The new managing director of Linden Homes Chiltern is Adrian Sims, who has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry.

Adrian joins Linden Homes from Barratts where he worked for 17 years to reach the position of operations director, having been construction director before that. He will report in to Linden Homes South East divisional director Tom Nicholson.

Tom Nicholson said: “Linden Homes is a respected housebuilder known for building top quality homes in great locations around the country and it’s a pleasure to introduce Adrian as the new managing director of our Chiltern region. His extensive experience in the industry will add real value to the company and will set him in good stead to take the business forward.”

Adrian said: “The first thing that attracted me to Linden Homes was how clear the company is about its brand; it’s very much centred on the quality of the product and the locations.

“I want to streamline the processes behind the scenes so that the Chiltern region focuses on continuous improvement; delivering homes efficiently and always to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Originally from Cardiff, Adrian has a construction background that goes back to when he was a child and his holidays would be spent on site with his grandfather who ran a contractor’s business.

It initially inspired him to want to become a site manager – which he achieved at the age of 21, becoming one of the youngest site managers in the country. At 24, he won his first Seal of Excellence in the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards.

“Being involved in my grandfather’s business has made me very aware of small businesses and their particular priorities,” he said. “It gave me an eye for detail and an awareness of the place building has in the community.”
