A New Region And A New Challenge For Linden Homes' Cherrill

Linden Homes West Yorkshire has appointed Cherrill Whiting as connections and marketing manager for the expanding region.

Cherrill has been in the new homes industry since 2012, but has a wealth of residential property experience to her credit - with a number of years working in estate agency.

She joins the Wetherby head office team from neighbouring Linden Homes East Yorkshire, where she worked as sales executive at a number of new developments across the region.

Cherrill said: “This role differs in that I will be looking after the database for all “coming soon” developments as well as overseeing and helping to maintain the database for all other ongoing developments.

“In my former role, I only really had to concentrate on my own development. I will also be responsible for the marketing within the region. I am really looking forward to and am excited by the completely new challenge the role will bring.”

Cherrill takes over the role from Pat Tennyson, who has recently been promoted to sales manager for the region.

Pat’s first sales manager role was with Stamford Homes in 1997 until 2008. During a break from the new homes sector, Pat went to work in estate agency for a time before joining Linden Homes North (now East Yorkshire) as a sales executive in 2013.

She said: “My many years of working with Stamford Homes – which later became Linden Homes – has certainly been varied, either working closely on site with customers or working on the administrative sales side at head office. I’m delighted to be in my exciting new post, as part of a dynamic team in a growing region.”
