Cornwall possesses some of the most pristine coastline in the entire UK. It also boasts large expanses of moorland and deeply wooded valleys. The county has a strong identity and regional heritage, and can't help but be welcoming. There are many reasons why buying a home in Cornwall is a good idea, but here are three of the best reasons to move into England's most westerly county.

Climate
Cornwall officially has the mildest and sunniest climate in Britain. This means you can spend more of your time outside, enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Sport
Because you can lead an outdoor lifestyle you can also lead an active one. Surfing and sailing is part of life in Cornwall and a great way to get stuck into the local culture. Newquay and Bude are two of the most popular surfing destinations, but if you are a beginner, the southern coast, which is more sheltered, is a better place to learn.

Education
For budding young families Cornwall has it covered with around 30 state schools and eight independent schools as well as three sixth form colleges. The county also has a university, University College Falmouth, which focuses heavily on arts-based degrees and certificates.
