The Best Things Come In Pairs! Two New Show Homes To Open At Camomile Lawn
20 Jul 2015

Award winning housebuilder Linden Homes will be unveiling not one, but two gorgeous new show homes at its Camomile Lawn development in Totnes on Saturday 25th July.

The first show home features five bedrooms and is dressed with oriental citrus yellow accents, mixed with glamorous polished steel furniture and glass beaded wallpapers. Fabrics have a watercolour appearance with stylised patterns and textures.

The interior designer has also had fun in creating a teenage boy’s room with a surfing influence, including a VW camper van mural and an entire wall of swimming pool wallpaper – complete with shark fin lamp, surfboard and shark cage style wardrobe!

Sarah Caseley, interior designer for Charles Scott Interiors, said: “The luxury classic theme oozes style and I’m thrilled with the result. The development is beautifully situated, near Totnes’ thriving town centre and surrounding fields, but with some breathtaking beaches on your doorstep, so I had plenty of inspiration for the two homes.”

The influence of driftwood and beach textures is the main framework for the second show home, with sand/glass embellished wallpapers with scarlet red, sunset pink and pebble stone accent colours. Rock formations and flora and fauna of the coast provide the theme for the fabrics, giving a natural, warm feel to the chic three bedroom property.

Alison Kendall, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes, said: “Camomile Lawn has been extremely well received, with a number of homes already sold off plan. The development boasts some fantastic views of Totnes castle and even includes allotments!

“The interior designer has done a tremendous job and the show homes have plenty of character, giving visitors lots of ideas on how their new home could look – you’re almost spoilt for choice.”

Camomile Lawn features a range of beautiful new two, three, four and five bedroom homes. There are currently a range of three and five bedroom quality homes available, located close to Totnes town centre, near the River Dart.

Totnes is a historic market town in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty and benefits from a wealth of amenities including good schools, shops, a railway station, restaurants and a vibrant arts scene.

Alison added: “The development has been named after the novel ‘The Camomile Lawn’ written by Mary Wesley CBE, who lived in Totnes before she passed away in 2002. We love that the marketing name pays homage to Mary Wesley’s popular novel, especially as she was such a key figure in Totnes.”

‘The Camomile Lawn’ (1984) was turned into a television series, and follows the intertwining lives of three families in rural England during World War II.

For more details come along to the event or visit the sales and marketing suite off Weston Lane, Totnes, TQ9 5UJ, open daily from 10am to 5pm, once the show homes have opened. Alternatively, call 01803 868340.
