and the last phase of Linden Homes and DCH’s work in the Devonport Development Framework

DATE: Monday 18th August
TIME: 10.30am
MEET: Welcome Hall, 4 Fore Street, Devonport, Plymouth, Devon, PL1 4DN

The start of work on ‘Emerge’, an exciting new development being created by Linden Homes and DCH, and the final phase of Linden Homes and DCH’s work in the Devonport Development Framework will be marked this month when representatives come together for a photo at the demolition event.

The redevelopment follows on from Evolve, which when complete this year, will have delivered 219 new homes, including 90 affordable homes.

‘Emerge’ will redevelop the Granby Green and Granby Street area in Devonport and will include the demolition of post war buildings and the creation of 101 new homes within a refreshed street scene. The scheme, together with other important initiatives in the area, will play an important role in establishing a new balanced and sustainable community within Devonport.

Local people and representatives from Linden Homes, DCH, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Community Homes and Lacey Hickie Caley architects will be present to watch the start of the demolition taking place. These partners have been working together on the regeneration of Devonport since 2006.

If you would like to attend the event, organise photos or arrange an interview please contact Emma Mackay or Mia Clay on 077383 12960 or 01392 814583.
