Local Housebuilder Celebrates Opening Of New Show Homes With Donation To Ringwood Junior School

To celebrate the launch of its new show homes at two popular local new homes developments in Ringwood and Verwood, Linden Homes has gifted £500 to Ringwood Junior School.

The school is raising funds for several projects and Linden Homes was only too happy to help with a monetary donation for the school to use as they wish.

Jo Dixon, marketing manager for Linden Homes South, said: “We like to work with local schools and organisations in the areas in which we are building new homes. It so happened that Ringwood Junior School were fundraising for several different projects, so we were delighted to help.

“We’ve also supported a number of other projects locally including the Ringwood Carnival and Fireworks display for several years in a row. And more recently, in addition to the donation to Ringwood Junior School, we also named one of the road names within Beaumont Park in honor of the late town councillor, Neville James Chard.”

Speaking about the road naming Neville’s son, Stephen Chard, said: “It’s such a great honour to have a road named after my father, he would have been so proud and we have to thank all of those involved for making it happen.

“Neville was Ringwood through and through - a postman for 51 years, a town councillor for 40 years, New Forest district councillor for 15 years and he also served Bisterne football club for 64 years playing alongside German prisoners of war when he first joined the club.

“Neville was also bestowed the title of Honorary Freeman of Ringwood Town; the first and only to receive this accolade.”

Linden Homes is building a collection of new homes in Ringwood and Verwood.

Beaumont Park on Crow Lane is a delightful collection of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Kilnhurst Gardens, situated along Verwood Road in Verwood, is set to deliver a range of three and four-bedroom homes.

A set of stunning show homes have now launched at both developments, so anyone interested getting a feel for what living at these developments will be like are invited to take a look. A set of stunning show homes have now launched at both developments, so anyone interested getting a feel for what living at these developments will be like are invited to take a look.
