We’re supporting Mill Hill Village Youth Football Club with a £1,000 donation to help buy the teams some brand new kits.
The junior sides, which range from under-7s to under-10s, are all getting updated strips which they will be able to try out at a series of summer tournaments, including a high profile tournament hosted at Reading FC.
Head coach Bryan Passade said: “The new football strip looks very smart, but it also emphasises that we are a distinctive team. It’s great for the boys’ morale to know that not only do they have new kit; they are backed by a company like Linden Homes.
“Our club offers youth football and coaching for boys from four years old all the way up to 18. We have our own ground in Mill Hill NW7 – so it’s a safe environment for the boys. It’s a busy club and all our coaches are volunteers who have completed FA qualifications.”
The club is hosting a community fun day at Burtonhole Lane in Mill Hill on June 14th to support its charity partner, Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. Activities will include a barbecue five-a-side matches for all age groups.
