Our Guildford region has been celebrating after scooping the top Mayor’s Award at a prestigious regional prize-giving.

The Surrey Property Awards, held at Guildford’s G Live on November 13th and organised by the West Surrey Association of Surveyors, Auctioneers and Estate Agents, were presented by England rugby legend Martin Bayfield.

The most coveted accolade of the evening was the Mayor’s Award, which recognises companies or individuals making the most significant ‘people-orientated’ impact locally, through development, training and education.

Linden Homes was praised by the Mayor for “positively touching the lives of many people and organisations” through its ongoing support of a number of local charities, schemes and events – support which has been delivered with “immense generosity, goodwill and a sense of spirit and fun”.

Peter Youll, managing director of Linden Homes Guildford, said: “Linden Homes has a brilliant track record for winning awards nationally but this is particularly special to us as it recognises our work, not only as a house builder, but as a local business.

“We are delighted and honoured that the mayor has recognised all the staff at Linden Homes Guildford for their hard work and commitment to the local community.”
