Househunters, future neighbours and local residents can get to know each other at a fun wine tasting evening organised at our exclusive Royal Barham House development in Truro.
The event on Thursday July 18th at 6pm will give guests the chance to chat and view the completed homes, while sampling some good wines and learning what to look for when choosing their tipple.
We are creating 19 luxury two and three-bedroom apartments from the derelict old infirmary hospital which was originally constructed in the late 1790s. It served the community for over 200 years before it finally closed in 1999.
Tim Holway, from Cornwall Wine Tasting Group, said: “Wine tasting is great fun. It’s really useful to discover what makes a good wine and learning which wines complement certain types of food. It makes it so much easier when you know what you’re looking for when you’re dining out or choosing a bottle from a shop.”
Linden Homes South West sales and marketing manager Jules Miller-Wilson said: “We’re hosting a series of events for new residents at Royal Barham House so they can start to get to know their neighbours but also for the local community.
“We want to show visitors the homes that are available and demonstrate that Truro is a fantastic place to live.”
Linden Homes has contributed over £1.2 million to health care services in the UK since 2010.
