Truro mayor views progress at Three Rivers development

Visit: mayor Cllr Loic Rich with (l-r) Linden Homes’ Beverly Rickard, Jules Hatch and Jerry Dawkins

Visit: mayor Cllr Loic Rich with (l-r) Linden Homes’ Beverly Rickard, Jules Hatch and Jerry Dawkins

We welcomed the mayor of Truro, Councillor Loic Rich, to visit our Three Rivers development in the city to view its progress.

The homes are set in more than four acres of beautiful grounds on the eastern side of the river in Truro, with generous private spaces as well as attractive areas of communal open space.

After a guided tour of the site off Malpas Road, where we are delivering 47 high quality homes and apartments, the mayor said: “It’s great to see that work on this site has recommenced.

“Hopefully this will mean the local community will get the benefits from any agreements with the planning conditions, such as social housing contributions and highways improvements, especially as I am actually campaigning to get Malpas Road made into a 20mph zone, and residents on site will feel a lot more confident about the future of this location.”

Linden Homes South West managing director, Nigel Palmer said: “We were very pleased to welcome the mayor of Truro to the development and we will be inviting him back to view the progress.

“It was terribly sad when worked had stopped on the previous development and I’m delighted that Linden Homes stepped in to help get things moving.”
