Talent: Linden Homes' Warren O’Callaghan with students David Skuburs, Josh Benyai and Grant Williams
Talented business students investigated their local history to help us brand our new collection of homes in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Our Midlands region challenged the young people at Huntingdonshire Regional College to come up with a name and identity for the development opposite their campus in California Road – and the winner was: Saxon Gardens.
The students were studying for a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business so the project gave them perfect experience. The four whose winning name and design was chosen were Joshua Benyai, Jack Lilley, Grant Williams and David Skuburs.
College principal Susanne Stent said: “We are extremely grateful to Linden Homes for giving our students the opportunity to work with them, by developing these links with employers and the local community we can ensure our students are gaining valuable experiences they can take forward into their careers.”
Sales manager Warren O’Callaghan said: “Their creativity and inspirational ideas were fantastic and we are thrilled with the outcome – not only that we have a wonderful new development name, but that Linden Homes has been able to offer some valuable experience to the students as part of their studies.”
