Creative: students joined by Linden Homes’ Victoria Barlow and college business lecturer Ali Paine
Young people from Huntingdon who helped to inspire the branding of one of our developments in the town were among the first to see the finished brochure.
At the start of the year, our Midlands region enlisted Year 2 business students from Huntingdonshire Regional College to join in with creating a concept and name – and the end result was Saxon Gardens.
The group of budding businessmen and women got the first glimpse of the hot-of-the-press Saxon Gardens brochure, designed by Pope Jones Partnership, during a special on-site presentation.
Linden Homes Midlands area sales manager Warren O’Callaghan said: “When we issued the invitation to the college we had no idea of just how much research and work the students would put into the project.
“The brochure looks fantastic and we are looking forward to launching the development in a few weeks’ time and welcoming the students back to see the progress in the coming months.”
Course tutor Ali Paine added: “They worked very hard and created some excellent pitches to send to Linden Homes. They enjoyed the freedom of creating a product from scratch and relating their work to a ‘real life’ project that will develop within the local community.”
