Professional: site manager Marc Carlton was one of six Pride in the Job Quality Award winners
Site managers from some of our developments around the country have been hailed for their professionalism with Pride in the Job Quality Awards.
The prestigious accolade is handed out to the impressive few who stand out from the 13,000 to be scrutinised by the National House-Building Council, which aims to strengthen standards in the industry.
The winners were Steve Meeking at Mosaic, St Albans; Laurie Bray at Kings Square, Walton-on-Thames; Jerry Dawkins at Royal Barham House, Truro; Rob Baker at Milbury Reach, Exminster; Paul Mott at Orchid, Oakham; and Marc Carlton at Renaissance, New Waltham.
Pride in the Job is the housebuilding’s most prestigious awards programme, and for 32 years it has recognised the UK's best site managers for their leadership, technical expertise, robust health and safety processes – and a certain X factor.
Linden Homes Divisional Managing Director Tom Nicholson said: “Congratulations to all the winners and the teams they’ve led so well. They’ve proved under rigorous inspection how Linden Homes is committed to the very highest standards.
“I’m delighted that all the effort we’ve put in for our customers has been recognised by fellow construction professionals. Now we have to build on this and do even better next year.”
