Linden Homes Guildford Site Manager Awarded For Excellence

Recognising the dedicated work staff undertake in managing developments to deliver quality, energy efficient new homes, site manager Steve Green was honoured for an outstanding contribution to the housebuilding industry for the second consecutive year in the National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Awards regional ceremony in October 2011.

The annual awards for the NHBC recognise the achievements of site managers in building high-quality new homes and their standard of excellence on site. Steve was recognised for his work on the company’s Fernley Park development in Uckfield – a joint venture between Linden Homes and Wates.

“I was delighted to be recognised for a second time. It goes to show the quality of the contractors we have on site and the dedication of the entire team,” Steve said.

“This has been a challenging site requiring innovative construction techniques due to the unusual topography we started with. I’d love to see Linden Homes scoop the award again this year.”
