Pedal power: a moment from last year’s Cycle to MIPIM fundraiser from London to Cannes

We sponsored a second cyclist who took part in a 900-mile cycle challenge from London to Cannes in aid of Coram, the UK’s oldest children’s charity.

Our South East region contributed £200 to support the efforts of Matt Sharman, from property consultants Levy LLP, who took on the four-day challenge in March alongside nearly 100 other riders.

He joined David Lunts, Executive Director for housing and land at the Greater London Authority, who also received backing from Linden Homes.

Carrying a baton the all the way, the group’s arrival in Cannes coincided with MIPIM – the leading international real estate fair. Coram was among five charities to benefit from the event.

The ride to MIPIM was the 10th to be organised by Cycle To…, a charity which uses bicycling as a platform to raise money for good causes.

Darren Maddox, Linden Homes South East managing director, said: “Cycling so far for such a worthy cause is a great achievement for Matt and David. We are delighted as a company to have made our contribution to the effort. Well done to both of them.”
