A crumbling path in Harrogate that was almost unpassable for pushchairs and wheelchairs is set to be transformed with help from our North region.
We’re also getting involved locally by sponsoring one of the specially created figures in the forthcoming Pinewoods Scarecrow Stroll in Harrogate. The best one will be awarded a prize by Harrogate in Bloom at its annual awards event.
Our scarecrow will sit near the well-used footpath which is going to be restored to improve the link between the Royal Horticultural Society's garden Harlow Carr to Harlow Moor Road, close to our exclusive Sussex Court development.
We’ve contributed £1,000 to its refurbishment which, along with funding from other sources, will mean work on the decade-old path should be complete by September.
Neil Hind, chairperson of the Pinewoods Conservation Group, said: “We really appreciate the continued support from Linden Homes North.
“Not only have they purchased membership for all their new homeowners, and taken part in a number of events, but they have made a very generous financial contribution to the much needed resurfacing of the southern end of the main footpath.”
Every piece of timber in your house is sustainably sourced timber. This means that new trees are planted to replace those cut down.
Linden Homes has contributed over £12.8 million towards outdoor open areas throughout the UK since 2010.
