Ashlar Court: we rescued the 1930s Grade II listed building in Hammersmith from the threat of decay
Our refurbishment of a Modernist architectural gem in London was commended at the Sunday Times British Homes Awards.
Ashlar Court, in Hammersmith, has been transformed by our South East region into a stunning collection of apartments; saving a 1930s Grade II listed building from the threat of neglect and decay.
The popular development was among those to be commended in the Conversion, Restoration or Refurbishment category of the British Homes Awards, which celebrates design excellence.
The results were announced on Friday September 19th in front of experts and key industry players at a presentation luncheon at The London Marriott in Grosvenor Square.
Linden Homes South East managing director Darren Maddox said: “Ashlar Court is one of our flagship developments. It really shows the quality that we can achieve and the respect we give, as housebuilders, to our surroundings.
“We’re very proud to have been commended in this category. It’s a great result that adds to the positive welcome we got from the people who matter most to us – our customers and their families.”
