Right mix: we donated £500 towards Bourton-on-the-Water Primary School’s new cookery gear
Pupils from a village in Gloucestershire will be learning how to cook up tasty treats of their own thanks to kitchen equipment funded with the help of our Thames Valley region.
We donated £500 towards Bourton-on-the-Water Primary School buying a mobile cook station specially designed for safe use by young students during lessons.
It is equipped to be wheeled from classroom to classroom so even more youngsters can get a taste of being chefs and follow the National Curriculum without the school having to invest in hugely expensive equipment.
Bourton-on-the-Water is near our Victory Fields collection of homes, in Upper Rissington, where we are transforming a disused airfield into a new community set to feature a new school, tennis courts and shop.
Steve Garton, Linden Homes Thames Valley’s sales and marketing director, said: “I hope the pupils at Bourton-on-the-Water Primary School enjoy their new cook station – and learn to whip up some really tasty food.”
