Pet dogs inspire Lisa to muddy charity challenge

Pet project: Lisa Riley was inspired by her dogs to take on the Tough Mudder challenge for charity

Pet project: Lisa Riley was inspired by her dogs to take on the Tough Mudder challenge for charity

Two pet dogs were the inspiration for one of our North region’s employees to test her physical strength and raise some money for rescue animals in a gruelling 12-mile muddy mission.

Lisa Riley, who is PA to the managing director of our North region, will be taking on a series of challenging obstacles when she joins in the Yorkshire Tough Mudder event in Skipton on August 1st.

Lisa is an animal lover whose pet pooches are named Bailey and Will.I.Am. She will be using the challenge to raise money for the Blue Cross charity, which rehomes unwanted cats, dogs, horses and small pets around the UK.

She said: “I am very passionate about this charity, being a pet owner myself, and although the Tough Mudder is going to be a hard and challenging course, my mind will be on the fact that I’m raising money for an excellent charity.”
