The latest community event at Royal Barham House proved our refurbishment is injecting new life into the formerly derelict old infirmary in Truro.
It’s being transformed into a stunning collection of 19 beautiful homes and has been hosting future residents, househunters and neighbours at a series of fun evenings.
The latest was a wine tasting session for guests to try some samples and find out more about what to look for when choosing a bottle. It was run by Tim Holway from Cornwall Wine Tasting Group.
They also got the chance to take a look around the luxury development. The infirmary was originally constructed in the late 1790s and served the community for over 200 years before it finally closed in 1999.
Linden Homes South West sales and marketing manager Jules Miller-Wilson said: “The wine tasting event went really well – I always feel like such a fraud in restaurants when the waiter asks me to sample the wine and I’m looking forward to being able to respond intelligently!”
