Rugby players in Northamptonshire are scrumming down in a brand new kit thanks to our Midlands region.
Brackley RUFC is celebrating a boost to the season in the form of a sponsorship deal, which includes an attractive new strip for its 1st XV team. Our backing adds to recent local support of the Brackley Cricket Club junior team.
The family-orientated rugby club was formed in 1976 to meet the growing demand for rugby in the town. It offers opportunities to players ranging in age from under-6 to seniors, and includes a thriving youth section.
Andrew Jones, Brackley RUFC commercial manager, said: “This is wonderful gesture by Linden Homes and really does make a huge difference to the club, which is at the heart of rugby locally for so many people of all ages.
“It is fantastic to have the support of a new developer in the town and I hope this is the beginning of a long partnership”
Clare Phillips, Linden Homes Midlands sales director, said: “Linden Homes has enjoyed a long and successful association with Northamptonshire for many years, and while we are relative newcomers to Brackley, we feel that it is very important to recognise, and where we can, support as many local initiatives as we are able, and feel part of this exceptional community.”
