New Food Bank Collection Points

Linden Homes is inviting local schools, businesses and residents to get involved in its work to help collect food for local food banks during the festive period and early in the new year.

The housebuilder has pledged its support this season, to help those in need. Food banks collect supplies and provide emergency food and assistance to local people who are referred to them in crisis.

For those able to donate, non-perishable food can be dropped off at the following sales and marketing suites between 27th December and 6th January (excluding New Year’s Day), ahead of the team hand-delivering the gifts to the food bank in the new year:

  • Cleeve View in Bishop’s Cleeve
  • Ensleigh in Bath
  • The Orchards in Thornbury
  • Bitton Mill in Bitton
  • Longhedge Village in Salisbury (open 2nd – 6th January)

Sue Scholfield, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes, commented: “Here at Linden Homes, we are proud to be providing homes and communities within which families can enjoy the festive period – however, we are also committed to helping those who are not afforded that luxury. There is often a drive to help charities during Christmas and so we wanted to offer some additional support just afterwards. We also thought people may have some spare items to donate to the food bank after Christmas and the time to do so.

"We would like to invite local schools, residents and businesses to work with us on this project and help us to help those in need this year.”

Linden Homes is currently creating new homes in Bishop’s Cleeve, Thornbury, Bitton, Bath, Ashchurch, Chippenham, Westbury, Falfield and Salisbury. Visit our website for more details.
