Music students from Truro College showed off their live performing skills when they wowed an audience at our South West region’s stylish Royal Barham House development in the town.

The Jack Williams Quartet, who are studying for a degree in jazz music, provided the soundtrack to an evening for guests to view the completed homes and enjoy some refreshments.

Vivian Rodd, head of jazz studies at Truro College in Cornwall, said: “Our musicians are extremely talented and play to a very high standard; it’s fantastic for them to be able to practice performing to live audiences.”

Linden Homes and Westco Properties are transforming the formerly derelict old infirmary hospital into 19 luxury two and three-bedroom apartments.

Linden Homes South West sales and marketing manager Jules Miller-Wilson said: “Royal Barham House is such a beautiful building and it has a wonderful, rich heritage.

“We’re hosting a series of events, not just for new residents atRoyal Barham House, so they can start to get to know their neighbours but also for the local community. We want to show visitors the homes that are available and demonstrate that Truro is a fantastic place to live.”
