Talented: pupils with George Eustice MP and sales manager Sharon Holder
An MP visited pupils to congratulate them on their artwork inspired by a visit to one of our developments in Cornwall.
Children at Roskear Primary and Nursery School were given a tour around the Boslowen development of 396 homes at Camborne, and used it as the subject in a ‘My new Home’ art competition.
Camborne and Redruth MP George Eustice unveiled new hoarding in Boslowen shopping centre displaying the winning entries, as well as touring the properties under construction at the former Holman Brothers factory.
Mr Eustice said: “I continue to be impressed with the Boslowen scheme, along with the lengths that Linden Homes go to in terms of engaging the local community, as is displayed by the brilliant colouring competition held with parents and pupils at Roskear Primary School.”
The MP also met apprentices working at the development and heard of their progress in partnership with Camborne College.
Linden Homes South West managing director Bill Cawse said: “I was delighted that Mr Eustice could once again spare the time to visit our scheme and to play a part in our work with the local community.
“We are proud of the homes that we are creating here for the local community and look forward to completing our work on-site.”
