Aylesbury MP David Lidington was delighted to see homes “being built for local people using local labour” when he visited our Exemplar Park development.
He was given a guided tour around the town’s new collection of superb two, three and four-bedroom homes, including a number of much-needed affordable properties.
The welcoming party included Linden Homes Thames Valley managing director Peter Carpinelli, and members of the site and sales team. They talked with the MP about the development’s progress, as well as wider economic and housebuilding issues.
Mr Lidington said: “It is important that when we build new homes, we deliver sustainable communities. That is why I was keen to hear about the community facilities and employment opportunities that will all form part of the wider development, making this a very attractive place to live.
“I was pleased to see the high specification of the affordable units that will shortly be handed over by Linden Homes to Sovereign Housing. These are homes that are being built for local people using local labour.”
Peter Carpinelli added: “We are extremely proud of this development and it is always useful to understand the views of the local representatives in areas which we work, especially regarding the tough economic situation and the housebuilding industry.”
Linden Homes has won awards for Best Sustainable Developer four years in a row.
Linden Homes has contributed over £47.7 million to education throughout the UK since 2010.
