The Mayor of Torbay, Gordon Oliver, visited our White Rock in Paignton to view the progress of work and meet the partners involved.
Our South West region is creating the development of 350 new properties in collaboration with Aster Homes, the first of three forthcoming joint venture projects the partnership is producing.
The mayor was guided round the site which is being transformed with high quality family homes carefully designed to fit in with their surroundings, as well as public open space, allotments and sports provision.
Mayor Gordon Oliver said: “It’s wonderful for the local community that the site is being well looked after and I can’t wait to see the finished result. The homes at White Rock are going to be very contemporary in a thriving location, perfect for local families.”
Linden Homes’ managing director, Nigel Palmer added: “We were very pleased to welcome The Mayor of Torbay to White Rock and start work on this exciting development, in partnership with Aster Homes.”
David Luke, regional development director for Aster Homes in Devon and Cornwall, said: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Linden Homes on this fantastic new development. It was great to show the Mayor of Torbay the progress on site so far, it’s really starting to take shape.”
