Good cause: the event at Darlington Hall, near Totnes, raised more than £900
We raised more than £900 for Devon and Cornwall’s air ambulance trusts, which are our South West region’s charities of the year.
The money was collected at a masquerade ball for staff held at Darlington Hall, near Totnes, Devon. Nearly 150 people joined the event organised by the South West region’s social committee.
A raffle proved very popular with plenty of eye-catching prizes and it succeeded in gathering more than £700 to help make up the £928 raised overall.
Louise Yung, Linden Homes South West head of customer experience, said: “The masquerade ball was a really enjoyable event and everyone got into the spirit of having fun and donating money.
“Congratulations to the social committee on their first function – the masquerade ball was a huge success and raised much-needed funds the Devon and Cornwall air ambulance trusts to do their vital life-saving work.”
