People interested in taking part in the one-off Colour Road Rush have until 5pm on Tuesday July 28th to register.
Linden Homes and our parent company, Galliford Try, are inviting the public to take part in the unique three-kilometre paint run on the brand new South Devon Link Road, to raise money for local charity Rowcroft Hospice.
Galliford Try executive chairman Greg Fitzgerald said: “Being a South Devon local, Rowcroft Hospice is a charity close to my heart. It’s great we can provide such a unique venue for this exciting event. So I would urge everybody to register to enter and put a bit of colour in your life!”
On Saturday August 1st entrants will be able to walk or run on part of the new dual carriageway, while being sprayed with washable paint at designated paint stations. The non-competitive event is open to everyone aged 13 and over but just 1,000 spaces are available.
Giles Charnaud, chief executive of Rowcroft Hospice, said: “We want to join with our community of South Devon, to live life in full colour, to place our mark on something remarkable and to say ‘I was there and it was colourful and memorable’.”
