Offices from around our regions got into the spirit of Sport Relief to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

With the help of an indoor putting competition, our Guildford region chipped in with £250 which was generously doubled with a contribution from Linden Homes to push it up to the £500 mark.

Linden Homes Guildford managing director Peter Youll said: “There’s a great spirit in our offices around the country where staff embrace the ethos of the Linden Homes Foundation with activities, fundraising and fun events for charity.

“This was a great example that helped to raise hundreds of pounds for Sport Relief. It’s something we’ll carry on doing throughout the year for lots of other good causes.”

Meanwhile, our Midlands team also got into the theme of the day when everyone at the head office in Peterborough paid for the privilege of coming into work wearing something sport related.

Technical manager Gary Martin went above and beyond the call of duty when he arrived squeezed into a football shirt that he wore as a child! The activity added yet more to the national total.
