On song: we helped Weighton Wolds Rotary Club raise £1,800 from its charity concert
We helped a Rotary Club’s fundraising concert hit a high note when it raised £1,800 for good causes and the local church.
We added £600 towards the total collected by the event in Market Weighton, in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The town is home to the Bradley Meadow development of 99 two, three and four-bedroom homes – many of which are currently being sold from plan through Chris Clubley estate agents.
Chris Clubley, who is also president of the Weighton Wolds Rotary Club, said: “Huge thanks to Linden Homes for their contribution to what was a very successful event.
“It is through the support of them and other like-minded people that help us raise money in our club alone. We have been able to make substantial donations to Air Ambulance, the Philippines Disaster, Marie Curie, Macmillan and smaller donations to local Market Weighton charities.”
Linden Homes North sales director Steve Woomble added: “We are delighted to be able to support good causes close to home which directly benefit the communities in which we are building.”
