As the nights draw in, our Midlands region has been shining a light on the dangers posed by construction sites to unaccompanied visitors.
Just as we issued warnings during the summer holidays to youngsters tempted to use them as playgrounds, we’ve also cautioned people against taking a peek at developments in the dark.
Linden Homes sales director Chris Roads said: “We always ask our customers to report to the sales and marketing suite on their arrival, and a member of the sales team will accompany them onto site.
“As darkness is now creeping into early evening, and soon into late afternoon, we cannot stress enough the dangers of people trying to get onto a site for a look around unaccompanied.”
The advice coincides with the message of National Road Safety Awareness Week from November 18th-24th, so we’ve been offering a free hi-visibilty wrist band to children accompanying parents to our sites.
Chris added: “It’s a fun way of reinforcing such an important message. We have many families with children living in our Linden Homes communities and can’t stress enough our commitment to safety and the wellbeing of our residents and visitors.”
