Talented youngsters from Hessle, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, will be putting their grand designs on show to the public next month – with a little help for the third year running from our North region.
Around 100 pupils from Hessle High School, studying for qualifications in GCSE and Btec art and A-level textiles, photography and product design, will display their work at a four-day exhibition at Country Park Hessle in June.
This culminates in an open evening on Thursday June 19th for invited guests, students and their families and local business people who will have the chance to view the work.
Sue Walker, technician from the art and design department at the school, said: “The exhibition, which has grown over the past six years, is a fantastic opportunity for the students to display their work in the areas of textiles, art, photography and product design.
“We are very grateful to Linden Homes North, who have a well-known and respected presence in Hessle, for their generous support once again.”
Linden Homes North sales director Steve Woomble said: “We are delighted to once again support this initiative which provides a wonderful showcase for the very talented arts and design students we have in Hessle.”
